Football talk started the show. Chris was in the pub on Saturday night watching the England match. Dave was up in Scotland and watched their great win over Iceland. Aled watched the England match at home whilst playing a new game on his mobile phone. Will broke the trend and admitted to watching Shrek on DVD. Chris argued that it was a girly childrens film but Aled defended Will by saying it was a good film and that Eddie Murphy was funny. Will said that Chris is a bit like Shrek because hes in a green shirt and is a bit ugly. Chris lambasted Will for wearing a Pink shirt with RAF style cufflinks. Will said it was highly fashionable and Mods wear them.
Chris will be playing a track each day from the album released today with the proceeds of the release going to the Warchild Charity. You might remember this charity from 1995 with releases from Radiohead and the supergroup Smokin Mojo Filters (Weller, McCartney & Gallagher). This time its the best artists at the moment recording Number 1 covers from the past 50 years. Oasis have covered Merry Xmas Everybody from Slade and Sugababes have chosen Adamski's Killer.
Will SportTalk featured at 5:20. It seems that the callers seem genuinely surprised to hear Will talking to them on the other end of the phone so it seems they are prank calling instead of using Dave and Chris. Aled will be seeing friends from Sheffield who are coming down to see him tonight. They wont be staying with him as Aled still shares a flat with a girl and Chris brought up the Video present that Aled gave her one time.
