Dave taped Footballer’s Wives for Chris last night, so Chris’s entertainment for tonight is sorted. Will said he couldn’t say what he was doing last night, so Chris assumed he was watching porn. Chris said his favourite porn show was one where you could hear the director giving instructions to some bimbos in their earpieces. He claimed he found the show accidentally by flicking through the channels one night. (Sidla that show was Night Calls, I also too found it accidentally... UB).
Tomorrow’s guest will be Kelly Osbourne. In the papers today, Simon Cowell was ‘left fuming’ after he was accused of being gay on American radio. Chris said that he looks so butch with his jumper tucked into his jeans and his belt around his armpits, so why would anyone assume that he’s secretly trying to hide his sexuality. Chris had an hilarious quote from George “Oh, look at those puppies!” that she said just before the news came on. Chris made it into a mock dance tune by adding some beats and a bass line. Dave and Will have come up with a new feature called ‘The Chris Moyles Anthem’ game. The prize is ‘The Very Best of Dave Pearce’s Dance Anthems’ as recommended by Tony Byrne. The callers had to name five national anthems to win it. Chris was annoyed that Dave could get away with not coming into work and yet still had his album plugged. They had 4000 texts in 10 minutes.
Dave played his new DULL game called Footballers Lives. Chris brought in DJ Spoony to berate him for talking to footballers on the phone. Chris asked why he never talked to his own team players. Chris then played on the joke that he only talks to black players but fell flat on Jody Morris as hes white. Not racist or anything, just a laugh before the complainers start kicking in. Chris played Parklife and then played tracks from the album to see if Dave or Greyhead knew. Greyhead had the album but hadnt listened to it in years and this was evident as he had no clue whatsoever.
Acarine again become the subject with Chris and the team promotes. It is called Blinder and will be released on the 10th February 2003. Could this be classified as Payola. I bet someone will still ask about it on the forum. Chris talked about a survey that said that Northern Men drink on average twice as much as Southerners.
