Radio 1 had gone Big Brother crazy and had given the staff a reward room. It used to be the run of the mill smoking room but now theres a bar, a comfy sofa, some nice chairs and an XBox. It is decorated in fake Chinese Wallpaper. Will said it looked like Del Boys flat. Dave decided to call it Kitsch. Chris called out to the staff members of Radio 1 to enter a competition to win free ice creams. Dave called it Stars in Their Ices. Aled called it as an Office War. The office had to come up with a talent they possessed and something that they will feel would improve the show.
Annie, from the Zane Lowe Show, sent in a complaint saying she was offended by Chris impression of the Thrills as she came from the same place as them and she can pronounce her H's. Some of the girls said that they would flash them their breasts to get the Ice Cream. The girls in Marketing said they would all flash. Dave said that would earn them a Choc Ice to share. Will said that Andy Parfitt was in a band, when he said band he spoke as if he had just went through puberty. James in Marketing said he could do a good Elvis impression. Will complained that Chris called them Magnum Ice Creams as it was a trademark name. G1 had assembled in the studio, the popularist section, Sara Cox, Jo Whiley and Dave Pearce crew. They had See You Jimmy hats and fake boobs. Chris asked Dave to name all of them and he couldnt. Chris could only name 4 of them. Anna, producer of Dave Pearce show, wanted to sing along to Benny Benassi. Dave said they included the words Dripping and Oral Satisfaction.
John Peel joined the show, yes you read that right, John Peel joined the show. Chris played the Grange Hill theme to take the pee after the debacle from last week. John said that he was waiting for the footie season to start. He impersonated a female fox at the point of ecstasy. The two said that they went to the pub together and settled their differences. Andy Parfitt wanted to do Yoga for the radio. The team agreed that it was pointless.
Mickey from Newsbeat joined the fray and did a 10 second jingle. It was awful. Chris wanted to wrap it up. Aled asked for one more group of people. Clare, Nicola and Jessica from the Live Unit decided to sing Christina Aguilera, Pink and Lil Kim accapella version of Lady Marmalade. The plan was to give John Peel the Ice Creams but the Live Unit had some talent between them.
Chris trailed the Reload subject for Dave Pearces show which was about Gareth Gates admitting to having sex with Jordan whilst she was pregnant. Gareth, your 15 minutes of fame are up, now go away. Dave said that they should play The Stutter Rap by Morris Major and The Minors and Chris said S-S-Sudio by Genesis.
