Chris dedicated today to Daniel Beddingfield after he saved their asses at One Big Sunday in Leicester after the power went down. While the Radio 1 crew were trying to get the power back up, Daniel did some singing and some human beat-box entertainment, with Chris breakdancing and playing some drums. Victoria Newton's Bizarre column in the Sun totally misreported the event, stating that Daniel Beddingfield 'performed at Radio 1's Big Day Out festival yesterday' and after the power went down he continued to sing 'through a megaphone at the Leeds gig'.
Chris rang Bizarre to ask them to explain their errors, and the person responsible answered. He said he was in a rush, he saw the picture of Chris on the drums and because he knew Chris is from Leeds, for some reason he assumed the gig was in Leeds. Chris told the sloppy journalist to keep up the high-standard of research that he does and wished him plenty of luck in the future of his career. He'll obviously need it.
Chris wanted people to text in with who they thought was the best at One Big Sunday yesterday. Which really means his ego wanted to get more texts than any other show and for them all to vote for the team’s song as the best.
Charlie from Busted dedicated one of their songs yesterday to ‘Greyhound’, but the audience didn’t react so he moved on quickly. Will was stood in the pit at the time and some random person tapped him on the shoulder and said ‘That’s you’, because of course Will doesn’t know who he is. Chris played what was going on in Leciester when there was no power. It was Daniel Beddingfield singing a load of different songs to keep the audience entertained. Chris had another dull text vote for the best act of yesterdays One Big Sunday
