Chris started off the show by informing us he was tangled up in his headphone cable and about Dave and his Mum. Last night was the premiere of the new Bridget Jones movie which Rachel went to last night. The question on everyone's lips this morning was of her and Hugh met up. Rachel simply said that she stood him up (which is probably true). The team had a conversation all about the stars that Rachel saw and met. Dom wanted a piece for newsbeat so got Rachel's evaluation on the whole thing which Rachel summed up in a beautiful sentence.
Rachel: It was exciting and great. At the end of 50 Cent Chris and Dave gave some backing vocals to it and then Chris gave us a taster of what we have to come up with in the next three hours.</p>

<p>Buzz Off</p><p>Today Chris decided to treat us all to Letter From America by The Proclaimers
Dave buzzed on 3:44 , 
Rachel buzzed on 0.04, 
Aled
tried to buzz on 0.51 and
listeners
were 57% Buzz Off.</p><p>Dave said he quite enjoyed that and we almost saw the return of Oriental Aled. Chris was quite bitter after the listeners reaction to the track so started to Buzz the next track off.</p>
<p>The team completely messed up at the end of One Road Travel so they did it again. We then found out that it's the famous zombie out of Shaun of the Dead's birthday. That's right it's Dom's Birthday!!! Chris asked if Dom wanted anything for his Birthday to which Dom replied something expensive. Chris then requested that any PR Companies or any Staff at Radio 1 should deliver Dominic a present. Birthday messages were just flooding in after only two songs. As one of Dom's presents he got a favourite song of his played on the Radio just for him... Jamie and The Magic Torch !!! and also he got the One Road Travel Jingle played out (he's a lucky man). In between a couple of songs Chris decided to remind us what a legendary day it is today with Dom being <strike>42</strike> 32.</p>
<p>After the News there were more Birthday messages just for Dom. The team tried to blag as much free stuff as they could for Dom and made another request to the public for Dom "Ya Big Baldy".</p>
<p>It seems that whenever Chris mentions Dom's age it increase by one year weirdly enough. Dom got some messages from some stars which he was very lucky to receive. Justin from the Darkness, Wes and Peter Andre who really did put a lot of emotion into saying his name. The team then played a Birthday game in honour of Dom which was the classic of Pass the Parcel with backing music by Hayseed Dixie. Dom was the one to receive the gift which was a tie of The Incredibles whih they really did go out and buy. </p>

<p>Next up was U2 and how they will have the pleasure of meeting the band that knocked them off the top spot of the Official UK Download Chart. Chris was just commenting on how YOU the listeners can get there to watch it will be Jo Whiley tomorrow and Chris on Friday. After the news Chris played a montage of clips of listeners wishing Dom a Happy Birthday. Which at the end Chris muttered: "chavs"</br>

<p>LETS GET READY TO RAMMMMBBBBLLLE!!! Rang through the airways one again and another song from Hayseed Dixie. Also the team played another game of Pass The Parcel Round 2. Paper or Present??? It finally ended up at Dom and he received a Burberry Cat and in Dom's words "Chav FM". Chris was so excited by all this that he forgot to allow Rachel to say her special line which he quickly fixed.</p>
After trying to blag yet more free stuff and then drifted off a little which led into a wonderful conversation all about Nasal Hair and how Chris needs a new pair of nasal clippers as the other ones got stuck up there and whenever he sneezes it pops out. They then managed to get back onto the subject of getting presents for Dom and how Chris was shocked that nothing had come in yet. One texter suggested sending in hair to Dom as he worked in a hairdresser but Dom decided to turn it down.
Later on we found that Dom had received some presents HooRahh! which was actually some Shower Gel and Deodorant.
Our Contestants today staring with Mr Fish were Nick and Scott.</p>
