very boring question here Aled, but does the r1 text system accept long SMS messages? several times I have gone to text and my message has been too long to fit in 1 message, but I always get the impression that if I were to send it like that, the second bit would get lost somewhere.... if you catch my drift.

No, they come through but as seperate texts. Best not to do more than 1 text length though as it's rare they'd come in together - consider we get several thousand per show

We drew a line under the tedious tracks when we moved to breakfast what with it being a largely new audience. In that respect Old Before I Die was played once on the 15th of April and Radiohead was also played once on the 2nd of Dec.

No. We brought it back, and the reception wasn't that warm - including from this board. I think the lesson I've learnt is "never look back, always look forward" as the features are always better in nostalgia!
