i felt as though chris couldnt control him that well last time which is why he sort of made excuses for the presents to shut him up a bit.

And as regards to the Radio Player I guess they don't want Chris in because it is specailist, so ask why Terry Wogan can be in but not Chris. I can't see why there would be copyright problems because they sometimes put Chris' show in when its an OB.

If you don't keep tapes, how did you get the audio for Will's last show, for example?

ok, I don't understant the Radio Player question. They're very happy for Chris to be on there. It's Chris that's holding it up as he said on air the other day.

I had to order the tapes of Will in advance.

by the way aled you might find this interesting or maybe not

on the bo selecta dvd

on the deleted scenes of david blaine, he goes up to a girl who is sitting down outside a coffee shop and asks her to hold a tissue and he walks away and the tissue line gets longer. the female (i know this is sad) i recognise from the pricedrop.tv, the other channel of bidup.tv

by the way chris features in the making of featurette for about 5 seconds

What are you shows plans for the last show on 5th December? Anything for us to look forward too?

If you don't mind me suggesting - why not have a link on the best bits of the afternoon shows over the years? Similar to Wills best bits.

Still in discussions. But the emphasis is going to be more, we're going to Breakfast rather than a look back at the last 4 years.

Avid was in character for the entire time. In and out of the studio. he turned him in character and left in character

Why is Chris Moyles not saying yes? Surely its a perfect good thing. I dont understand. Just say that loads of people on this board would love to see it. You after all our window to Chris and im sure the DJ is up for suggestions.

Surely with the listeners he's currently got on his afternoon show (And im not saying they wont make the effort to listen to him in the morning) would benefit from it if they are unable to listen in the morning. Thus missing no Moyles on the Radio.

As for the emphasis of Breakfast - I know its best to look to the future instead of 'look back' but lets face - you wont have to order any clips from the BBC Archieve Trolls . Just download them from here..

the only thing this site is really missing is an interview with the man himself. as for contributing i dont do much anyway so feel my comments on any link up are irrelevant but at the moment i find it hard to see what the bbc can actually offer this site... other than not sueing.

What sort of things would you want us to do? I'd love to work with the BBC but I still have no idea what my future holds, and wouldn't want to commit too much time.

The Mirror wrote:RADIO 1 DJ Sara Cox had to make a grovelling apology yesterday after playing a song full of swear words on her show.

The breakfast presenter, above, intended to pick the theme to TV's Casualty.

But instead she chose an expletive-laden song by Oxide and Neutrino, of notorious rap group So Solid Crew.

Part of the song, Bound For Da Reload, goes: "S**t, I'm shot, I don't f***in' believe this, Can everyone stop getting shot, shot, shot, shot, Can every one stop getting shot?"

Horrified bosses pulled the plug mid-way through. And Cox, 28, said: "I had no idea it was that hardcore and didn't know there was any swearing in it at all."

The DJ, to be replaced by Chris Moyles after losing listeners, said she was "really sorry", especially if children were listening.

This happened on Moyles the other week with a Dizzie Rascal track. Am I the ONLY one who noticed? I'm surprised nobody said anything at the time.

I think that would be such a shame. After over 5 years on afternoons, I would think a lot of Chris's listeners would want to reminisce on his last show. Like Adam said, you don't need to go searching through the BBC archives for clips Aled - you just need to download them from here.

I would think that if it was treated like a normal show with no special look-backs or anything, it would be a major disappointment. I accept that it's good to look forward, but after such a long time on this particular show and after so many good times on it, I think to leave it without looking back would be a big shame.

I know the reason, but there are some things he wouldn't want said in a public forum I think this is one of them. The best thing to say is that there are a number of us at R1 who want this and we're working on it. It's down to Chris whether he wants it or not.

I've tried that. The quality on here isn't good enough to re-broadcast.

I completely understand that it would be disappointing, and I agree with that. But there are other things to consider. it wouldn't be fair to Radio 1 if we did that. The big news is us starting on Breakfast not leaving afternoon. Let us make the Brekkie show big, not the last afternoon one.

You got the montage of the past on Will's leaving. It would be the same type of montage barely 6 weeks after the last one!

There may be some people who would WANT to work officially with Moyles. Don't shame them into coming forward by suggesting a fake loyalty thing to this site. At the moment all the sound clips on here are taped off FM or across Digital Radio, all pics are scanned in for magazines, all songs are listed by people who "think" they heard them in that order. By working with us there's the possibility of better quality clips every now and then where needed and confirmation of information or track details etc.

I fear people on here are too quick to see the negative all the time. Scott on behalf of the BBC has offered this hand to some of Moyles' most loyal fans and he's getting a closed door in his face! Shocking.

ok fair enough if those sorts of things could be offerred it would improve this site. my loyalty to this site may seem a bit sad but i dont want to see the bbc site improve dramatically at the expense of here. that said i have nothing to do with this site so i will now keep my mouth shut.

OK, this is just my opinion as someone pretty new to the site. I think Aled has a point about things like sound clips or the pictures, if there was a chance that they could come direct from the bbc, the quality would be better. Before anyone gets defensive - I understand that people are loyal to the site and I don't blame you, especially if you've been contributing for a long time. But joining up with the bcc doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, as long as everyone on this site had their opinions taken into account, and the bbc didn't overule them.

You've contributed to this site with your A-Z thing, and your TV show reviews not to mention nearly 7000 posts on here.
