The word 'rhythm' is unique as it's the only word in the English language not to contain a vowel. Vowels are one option when picking letters on 'Countdown', with the other being consonants. Destiny's Child are from Houston, which shouldn't be mistaken for Euston, which is a London mainline station which serves North Midlands, the North West and Scotland. Scotland is the birthplace of Ronnie Corbett, who is one half of the Two Ronnies and one of Dominic's best impressions. Impressions are the specialist area of Ronni Ancona, who's currently in the desert with Scott Mills and Craig David. Craig David shares one name in common with Daniel Craig, who is currently James Bond 007. 'Seven' is the title of a film starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, who was also in 'Bruce Almighty' with Steve Carrell, who plays the David Brent character in the American version of 'The Office'. The British version of 'The Office' was set in Slough, although the company, Wernham Hogg, also had an office in Swindon. Swindon is where Billie Piper is from, who stars in 'Secret Diary'. The word 'diary' is an anagram of 'dairy', which is a word associated with cows. If you sailed from Cowes on the Isle of Wight to New York you'd be in the home of the Beastie Boys, which links to Beastie Boys and 'Sabotage'.

'Sabotage' is a good example of a word which is the same in both English and French, a bit like 'baguette' and 'au pair'. An au pair is basically a fancy-sounding nanny. Nanny McPhee is a film character played by Emma Thompson, who's mates with Stephen Fry. Fry is the best way of cooking chips. Chips of a different type are what you play for in a casino, then you cash them in at the end of the night and exchange them for money. Money is also known as currency, and different countries have different currencies, which is why you have to get money changed before going on holiday. A holiday is what the Americans call a vacation, which shouldn't be mistaken for a vocation, which is a job that someone is particularly drawn to or suited to. Suited is how you might describe a man dressed for a posh occasion, like Chris was yesterday and me, Dom and Aled weren't. Aled is from Wales, which is also where the Manic Street Preachers are from, which links to Manic Street Preachers and 'Motorcycle Emptiness'.

Flaws:

'Sabotage', 'baguette' and 'au pair' are not words that are the same in English and French, they are French words that English speakers have adopted into their language.

The Manic Street Preachers are fronted by James Dean Bradfield, who shares two of his three names with movie legend James Dean, who is a good example of a dead celebrity who appears a lot on posters, a bit like Marilyn Monroe. Both Marilyn Monroe's initials begin with the same letter, a bit like Lindsay Lohan and Sharon Stone. Sharon Stone starred in 'Basic Instinct' alongside Michael Douglas, who's now starring in the new version of 'Wall Street'. Wall Street is the main financial institution in New York. New York is apparently so good they named it twice. Twice is how many times Heston Blumenthal fries his chips. Chips are combined with fish to create the national dish of these shores. If you combine the word 'pure' with 'shores' you get 'Pure Shores', which is probably the best song by All Saints. All Saints included Nicole and Natalie Appleton. Nicole is a French name, and one of the first words you learn in French is 'bonjour' which means 'hello', which links to The Beloved and 'Hello'.

The video for The Beloved's other big hit 'Sweet Harmony' featured Tess Daly. Tess Daly shares one name in common with Daley Thompson from athletics in the 80s. 'Acceptable In The 80s' was a hit for Calvin Harris, who's big mates with Dizzee Rascal. Dizzee Rascal has had many hits including 'Holiday' and 'Bonkers'. 'Bonkers' rhymes with 'conkers', which grow on a chestnut tree. Trees collectively make up a wood or a forest. 'A Forest' was the first top 40 hit for The Cure. Cure is a word associated with illess, but can also be applied to stuff like ham. Ham is a handy meat to have in your fridge as it's easy to make sandwiches out of. Sandwiches were invented by the Earl of Sandwich, who was the first person to eat stuff between two slices of bread. When bread goes off it gets mouldy, and the mould normally looks green, which links to Green Day and 'Welcome To Paradise'.
