tmwrnj was amazing! my friend was king of the show once. i admit dodgy in places like the organ gang and that stupid crow histor's eye, but it was brilliant in between. the actor kevin eldon was the best.
[This message has been edited by Tom Murphy (edited 13 June 2001).]

fist of fun, they had a datablast thing like they had on how 2. fof was alright but tmwrnj was patchy probably because it was 45 minutes long. i agree kevin eldon should be on tv more. hes very funny, what was the anorak character. that was hilarious. didnt they have a slot a long time ago on radio 1

They have written jokes for many Radio 1/4 shows including Chris Morris' shows. If they have done a show on Radio 1, it would have probably been 'Loose Talk' or something like that in the early 90s (I'm too young to remember).
the_dr

Fist of Fun was much better than TMWRNJ. The sketchs from FoF that still make me laff were the Driving Instructor, Peter Dibden and his catchphrase to learners. "Can you drive, in the eyes of the law? No I don't think so. My nephew, Christopher can so look and learn"
And the Shrewsbury Pie, pie, pie. And especially the old bloke who fought in the war who says " If I want to eat glass, I'll eat glass. Up your Delores!"
Yes Kevin Eldon is class. His Rod Hull and Simon Quinlank characters were very funny.

I went and saw Stewart Lee, (and others) in a comedy venue in Fulham some years ago. He was far the best. I went and saw him again a few weeks later (free tickets) and I couldn't help myself during one of his jokes as the punchline is NO. I blurted it out and ruined it for the audience and got a really bad look off of Mr. Lee.
One of his best lines was when he was going on about how one of his ex-girlfriends said he had a small penis. His retort to her was 'A jumbo jet is very big, but landing in the Grand Canyon it suddenly appears very little.' Oh and by the way your vadge is enormously large.
[This message has been edited by winker (edited 14 June 2001).]
