I think that Rise has potential to be good - they're just getting used to cameras and early mornings for one then there's the fact that it's live and new so give it some time and it'll get better... I hope.
I like the lip service bit where they have a team to work out what celebrities would have said when the cameras didnt pick up the sound - I think R.Williams has been the funniest so far

Yeah, It's rubbish (I'm not saying it can't get better though). We don't need that much news in the morning - it is just a glorified adult version of Newsround that goes like this :

News, entertainment news, sports news weather. News, Entertainment news, Sports news, weather

for 2 hours in that exact same cycle (or something like that).

The music is very annoyng and dull and why the hell are they just sitting along one long desk?!!?!? Be animated....DO something!!!!!

We don't need news that much in the morning either - Short regular bursts will do, Also 99% of the time the presenters aren't funny either (I know they're not supposed to be but they should be) and humour is what I and most people want in the morning!. The Big Breakfast woke me up because I was just laughing all the time, news justs puts me back to sleep! Loosen up Ri:se. ......As a letter in heat magazine said...."More like CR:AP"

i think you all expect too much from breakfast tv. personally i like something to look at in a morning an now we have sophie raworth on bbc (plus the teletubbies if you like a bit of sing song like me) then gmtv always has one nice bird (especially the scottish one on entertainment thing hmmmmmmmm....). Now we have Kirsty Gallagher its gotta be an improvement on potato head Amanda Byrom.

I agree. When Auf Widersen Pet returned, the first week it was on there was massive hype and it got excellent reviews. Last week I read a rewiew of the second episode in the Mail on Sunday and the critics were slating it. It's too early to tell duh! Critics suck.
