moomins bloke - one of my old friends once used to say "moomins have no willys", that was amusement enough for me in the olden days.

it is sad about the moomins man, but..........
"it's pickling time with pickling joe
and joby's here as well.
they'll pickle this, they'll pickle that,
if you don't watch out they'll pickle your cat!"
trev and simon: wasted genius.

Why didn't anyone tell me about this sooner? When are trev and simon on? They were the best thing about live and kicking and going live before that

Thursdays 11:55pm(ish), Channel 5. The programs called Downloaded and it shows web animations. I stayed up late to watch it last night and it was all reet man. I too used to think they were hilarious when I was young - on par with the Chuckle Brothers. Good to see them on TV again, in all their campness.
the_dr

moomins- shame the bloke died.
trev and simon- i loved them on live & kicking and found them v. funny.
i'll never forget "duvet know it's xmas time" and "everything changes but chew". A chanel 5 slot is not worthy of trev and simon.

you're gonna love this:
ok they had some deal about going around looking for something in this big eagle. it had a whole inca/aztec feel to it.
BUT: when they stopped it (mid-series may i add) i was so upset that my mum helped me write in to ask why they'd pulled it. apparently it had the worst ratings for any cbbc show ever. i really couldn't believe it coz i thought it was amazing. too bad.

I remember it having animation similar to that of dogtanian and the muskahounds (sp?). that sort where, if they were running, it would just show them face on moving their legs up and down and hands back and forth whilst a drip of sweat would fall from their face - it looked v. unrealistic, but a dog dressed as a cavalier type isn't exactly a very "real" thing itself :)

dont underestimate dogs think of lassie, the littlest hobo, scooby doo, scrappy doo, bouncer, all the blue peter ones, that dog off Frazier, wellard, rollie? (the one grant had in eastenders), Monica (corrie), wishbone (never heard of it myself but my sister said it), mutley and also the lesser known fact that God is a dog (spelt backwards see?? may be the creator of the universe but crap at disguises).
