yo,
If you want to get onto Internet Radio, the training they usually do is how to use the software to broadcast... Such places as http://www.digiradio.com etc etc
Hospital Radio - just give your local hospital a ring and ask to be put through to the radio room and just have a chat with them. Training can vary and you may have to go on the wards collecting requests for a while before you start your shows. http://www.hospitalradio.co.uk and join the Hospital Radio One List on e-groups.
If you're young, try and get work experience at your local station (find them at http://www.mediauk.com)
If you're not so young then just put demos together and send them off...
And a note about producing - at your local stations you don't offtenly have them... Only on main stations would you find a whole team such as the CM show.
Cheers
Mike
