fun house should definitely have been in there. i saw most of it but i didnt see trapdoor or inspector gadget either, what a travesty.
not enuff moyles altho his comment on mr benn was good. he didnt get to wax lyrical about his various obscure favourites like he sometimes does on the show.
and where was willy fogg??
Was it me or did Moyles look really good? Not in a homosexual way but like with his weight and stuff...compared to how he's looked in articles and stuff. Fair play to him, I guess the trainings working out...

POB!!!!! ARGH!!!!
See this for details of my deep hatred the great spitting one. It's strange that Moyles should talk about it.
Great show, it was crying out to be made. Nice to see Boyd, Mallet, Gervais, all the classic shows and oh-so-much of Moyles. I'm not complaining but it should have been renamed the Top 100 Chris Moyles Kids-TV Anacdotes Of All Time. He was on it more than Theakston, and I thought he wasn't as funny as he could have been. Another TV opportunity wasted.
Missing - I agree, Fun House, and Simpsons was a bit of an obvious winner since Homer won the characters poll. Also missing was Tommy Boyd ripping the **** out of Mallet. It's weird that I knew 90% of the shows on there, yet I wasn't alive when most of them were broadcast. Too many nostalgia programs :)
If you were wondering where the top professional talking heads of all time - Stuart Maconie and Paul Ross - were, I suggest you look in the credits. They produced the show.
the_dr

although i love it deeply, i cant see how the simpsons is the best "kids" tv show ever. most of the episodes are suited for all the family, but stuff like "the cartridge family" "grandpa vs sexual inadaequacy" and "natural born kissers" shouldnt be considered as childrens entertainment. the fact that they canvassed all of the clips from two or three early season episodes and the "do the bartman" video ****ed me off as well. episodes like "cape feare", "marge vs the monorail" and "fear of flying" and loads of others from seasons 4,5, and 6 are the real examples of why the simpsons is so good, but every single show using simpsons clips is hell bent on using homer falling down the cliff during "daredevil bart", despite the fact that everyone has seen it a million times before. grr.
on the whole the show was decent, but most of the talking heads were atrocious, especially louise, iain lee and ricky gervais. moyles wasnt as bad as those three, but he still came across as a bit dull, spouting predictable pub-discussion guff like the mr benn and flintstones stuff.

i had to put up with no moyles because of the stupid TV in wales, there was a welsh programme on and moyles was on at 10:30 and i thought it had been cancelled or something so i turned the TV off, damn i missed him on big breakfast as well

I have to disagree with you on the Iain Lee and Ricky Gervais thing. They are both very funny, especially when together (as demonstrated on the Perrier Awards), but can also be knobs. Iain Lee has a go at 'nerds' in nearly every joke - but he is the biggest nerd of them all. He presented a documentary about the history of computer games. Gervais is just a funny man.
The WORST talking head is the blonde woman with the VERY annoying voice who edits Smash Hits (not Kate Thornton).
the_dr
