We have our own handy andy's right here on MW (just without the cheesy t-shirts and pencil on the right ear)
ooh Dan and Steve are equal on posts - a pointless bit of observation there :)
*senses a new posting race to 1000 after the anticlimax of the great race for the 10,000th post a while back*
[This message has been edited by Monkey (edited 30 August 2001).]
Yes, er, me too. As the song goes "everyones a winner baby, thats for sure". Unless you are (insert name of losing football team in recent match because i have no knowledge of football at all).
the_dr
The_dr !! U have no knowledge of football ?
You havn't lived m'boy.....That's what always surprises me is like these huge matches - like England v Germany in Euro2000 got something like 21m people wtching; so that means that 39m people didn't watch....weird - but now I'm going into the extremely murky territory of Viewing/listening 'figures'; the less said about them the better...
the simple truth is there's no rational reason not to follow football. no, you don't have anything better to do, and no, it's not boring. I CANNOT WAIT TILL WE DESTROY THE KRAUTS TONIGHT!

p.s. posting wars are good fun for all, the first to 1000 will receive a prize from me.
