Radio One is the top of the ladder for radio DJs under the age of 30. Next step for him is either TV work, or dare I say it - the R1 Breakfast Show. He would get more money - but a smaller audience.<P>Have you heard the Penk show BTW? I've not but I've heard it's appauling.<P>the_dr

Yep the breakfast show gets 9mill I think. I saw the stats a while back and I think that was it. Its Radio 1s top show apparently(sorry about spelling)

i'm off to uni on the 23rd. wish me luck for all the partying, drinking, and generally having a good time.<P>by the way people - if you are at all worried about getting into uni, almost everyone i know (including myself) dropped grades and still got in to their first choice uni, and my course  has only 10 places. i know someone who got into oxford with ABD as well. work hard but don't put yourself under too much pressure and get worried!

nice advice mate. much appreciated.<br>i really cannot wait for the drinking etc to start at uni. one year to go. . .<P>incidently, did you go to visit any uni's before making your choices last year?<P>i cant be arsed. went to exeter with two mates and caused a bit of upset in the town center with some traffic cones, huge "school fait" plastics signs, and motor vehicles. we got a real taster for univercity life. cant bloody wait.  :)

i went to one open day, but was unlucky enough to have to go to 6 interviews because my choices were all select courses, so to be honest with you i saw all the unis i chose, and to be even more annoying to you it was very useful because i found some to be complete dumps and some to be much nicer than i expected. sad but true, it's useful to look. maybe just pick 2 or 3 though.
