mainly because mark and lard (apart from peel and nightingale) are the oldest djs on the station and they know a lot of music and they are allowed to play a certain amount of records that they want<br>the playlist is only there so people can listen to modern day music that is "in"

the play list needs more oldies in it. the golden hour/mystery years was one of the better features and gained a vast knowledge of older tunes. new music is for the majority pants- or only good because your played one hundred times a day. the only problem with bringing back the golden hour is because every local tinpot station does it to death.<br><br>hoare has spoken.

even if it was just moyles taking the piss of novelty acts which have been lost for the annals of time- i.e. resurrecting the six  o clock moment.....
