It all depends on what happens now, doesn't it? Bloody hell, this is all very depressing. Ironic, seeing as its probably a defining point in my life.

I can't even listen to the radio at the moment. I was feeling depressed due to other reasons before this even happened. Now the slow downbeat music, although appropriate is really getting to me.

Paul.

nah, I think it's right. How can u have phone calls about ppl fancying there boyfriends brother and then go into the news about this. It's sombre but things like this just don't happen in real life. It's a shame about the last Sat show but just think there could of been Moyles fans in one of those planes or buildings that will never hear him again. Moyles is doing brilliantly and I think he will get alot more respect after this.

I agree, I think he will get much more respect after this. Although it was first heard on Mark + Lards' show, chris was the person who had to break it to all the people coming home from school and work.

I think he did well considering.

I hope he will get more respect for this, I never heard him serious before. I got in the car at 3:30 to hear it on the news but I didn't relise how serious it was until Chris said we won't be doing our normal show. I think people will now begin to relise he's not just an egotistical bastard.

Btw - I don't actully know what egotistical means, but it sounds good.

i had r1 on. chris has being doing the same, sombre, link all the time, but it's reassuring - although quite scary - to hear his deep voice every fifteen minutes. i keep listening and keep watching the news, i should stop, but i can't find any inspiration to do any homework, so i either go to the pub or sit watching the news.

something that momentarily cheered me during mark and lard's show "an e-mail comes in saying 'i'm annoyed at radio one's coverage, no one's in the mood for laughter today; so i dont know why you aren't doing your normal show' " boom boom.

I'm glad Chris respected the nature of this event.

I've been ill since I got back from my hols about a week ago, and was watchin BBC1 when the 1st news flash was on. As it was showing tower 1 burning the other plane slams into tower 2. I didn't go to bed until 12.00 Tues nite. I couldn't stop watching, and thinking about all those people who died.

It is a terrible tragedy committed by cowardly, mad, fundamentalist (in)human scum.

jerry springer was on the show yesterday very briefly. (that's why we should still be recording the show ok?).

can moyles' show ever really be the same after this week? now we've seen this other side of him. the world can't stop operating because of this otherwise the terrorists have won.

Sorry if I gave the impresion of being insensitive, that's NOT what I intended at all. I just can't understand why someone would want to kill themselves for a cause, what ever it is.

Please join me in a moments silence praying for the family and relatives of the dead by posting blank messages here.
