I heard a rumour today that there was actually eight planes. Four we know what happened to but four others that were shoot down by America. Does anyone know anything about this?

I also heard that Baza and it is probably true and things do go on behind closed doors for all we know the US goverment may have known about these attacks earlier than suggested as the pitsburg plane was most likley shot down but that has not been confirmed.<br>

haven't seen any pictures of the pitsburg plane, though i dont particularly want to see much more. also, i heard on the news, about 2pm on said day, that there were two united airlines planes unaccounted for. this was before the pitsburg one went down though - i think. mind you in all the confusion it is likely that a few false reports may have came in. i too heard the other day about "the eight planes" thing. i'm dubious though not fully decided.

I have suspicions that the US military shot the plane heading for 'Camp David' down.  I don't think it crashed.  The other two had been difficult to shoot-down as it would have caused the same, if not more damage to the city and residents of NY/Washington.<br><br>Though what is baffling is why the plane changed its course from heading to the Whitehouse, onto the Pentagon instead. ???<br><br>And furthur more, this could go on for ages but... i won't  :) - Very unusual to see Pakistan support USA too.

I persume they changed corse from the whitehouse to the pentogon because the whitehouse has missle deffence and is heavily garded

seeing as this is the topic for all this. does anyone know what flight recorders have been recovered? if i recall correctly they've got the one from the pentagon and the one from pitsburg.

Gordon - Now i think about it - it does seem logical that it was destined for the World Trade Centre rather than the Whitehouse. The plane was heading for Washington originally - and the hijackers took over and diverted the plane with precision timing - hence the "sophisticated, pre-meditated terrorism attacks".<br><br>My guess if that they went for the WTC instead of the Whitehouse anyway, purely for the fact that people from all walks of life work in that building.  So it was an act of "terrorism against the WORLD" sorta thing. You know what i'm getting at right?
