saturday the 15th of september
is anyone going down to see off the crew? i know sanjay's been before, and i might be persuaded to part with my hard earned cash to go and have a butchers.

similarly, who's going to e-mail in? we need some mw member shout outs on the last sat show!

i know some of you think it was arse, but that's why i liked it. the true hungover feeling eminating from it is often easy to empathise with (very easy :) ) after a hard friday's drinking. i know they've been crap sat.s recently, but i'm sure some were very good. not that i can name an example :D

also, who's gonna win the mercury tomorrow? my bets on s.f.a's or pj harvey.

cheers, and night all
Mercury Prize: it was over shadowed somewhat by recent events. I predicted Polly would win, but I've not got the album yet. Zero-7 are over-hyped (the album doesn't even come close to Moon Safari - dont believe the crap) - and they have been slagged off in NME quite a bit. Radiohead, SFA and Jaxx were too commercial to win. Turin Brakes should have won it. Class album.
