Zoe Ball is still on radio- howwever this time it's one of those baby radio singing lulabys!!
However - who apart from The "Trash" and myself, should take over from her - should she ever leave - I say stand by for the Scott Mill/Emma B breakfast show.

was that power to me Jonny Hoare?
and Emma B at brekkie - ooooh no!!!!! Kevin Greening! Bring him back! Simon Mayo - bring him back! Hey we could have Chris at brekkie, but that would mean getting up at an unearthly hour and as a student that is disallowed!
Scotty - yeah, he is good. There's someone who I just can't remember who was a really great R1 DJ (I always have a bad memory!)!
Basically I want anyone who isn't...... a ligger, has crap vocab and an exaggerated accent, with naff stories of their personal life - pet talk should be banned! They do have to have a GSOH, and be a bit sarcy with it.
Joe Mace! He's a tv presenter, but he's class!
Gosh there was me going on again! I haven't done that for a while!
xx
what am I doing on the comp' at this time? who knows!
[This message has been edited by Kate (edited 10 February 2001).]

Can I say after watching TOTP+ I can whole heartedly agree that MR Joe Mace has what it takes to do radio. Lisa Rogers( is that a threat or a promise) too. Howevere Kids TV refugees such as Andi Peters in Drag (Josie D'Arby) or Vernon ( Vernon fer chrissake) Kays have now chance what so ever.

I don't want to satrt an argument but I'll have you know that Vernon Kay and Josie D'arby, both people I work with on TOTP Plus/TOTP @Play, and people I Know well, are very nice people and above all else very proficient presenters. I'm glad to see that you have noticed the skills of Joe mace as he is widely overlooked and under rated but Why put up a post ****ging off Vernon and Josie when they've never made any attempt or shown any interest in moving over to radio? Just to start an argument, that's just like me saying "Bill Clinton shouldn't move into radio because he's no good!", well I'm not going to say that, I don't think this board should be about pointless arguments!
Eddie

Look what you've done now hoare boy!!!! You upset a man who knows the hosts of the TOTP @ play programme. Bang goes your chances of being Vernon Kay's official pasty crimper. All hail the king of the award winning radio show 'The Fine Line' Mr Jonothan Hoare!!!

Hi again,
Kate - I'm sure he meant no harm, just thought it was a pointless comment and if he'd said it about people you know and like you would have been offended a bit too! But I bear no grudges!
Eddie

Eddie - just to let u know that Vernon did do a radio show on xfm in london and it was un-surprisingly short lived cos he was crap. As i remember he kept making comments such as "i'm tv's vernon kay", what he should have said was "I'm vernon kay from a minority tv channel that nobody actually watches so you wont know who i am but i'll try to make myself into a celebrity anyway"
Sorry to sound bitchy but im in a bad mood cos ive got flu.

I know Eddie.
And I think you are right about Joe anyway - he may be doing totp+ but not @play.
Simon, Vernon is a good tv presenter (can't comment on radio as never heard him) and a lovely person, but I will let you off cos you got flu (get well! :))
Jonny Hoare - NO ONE will be as good or as original as Josie and Chris!!! - Josie says whenever she sees him (Chris) they always recreate the old faves - spesh Wood Lane!! Oh how I'd love to be there!!!
xx
[This message has been edited by Kate (edited 14 February 2001).]

Chris Jarvis used to peck my head. It was the chin I think, yeah definatly.
The good old days were when the Broom Cupboard was a Broom Cupboard and Ed the Duck and Andy Crane were on. And then Andi Peters. Not these newfangled aardvarks and aliens.

Broom cupboard, Andi, Ed, Sarah Greene, Philip, Gordon, Emma....aaah, they were the BEST days, but the best thing recently has been Chris J and Josie together - not patronising, and very funny...and since they were a good number of years ago, it just shows what a sorry state kids tv is in today and for the past few years.....
xx
