From the title of this thread you may think i am a few months behind but...<P> did anybody else hear sara cox today when she was talking about how she had been out the night before to say bye to melinda because he is leaving radio1 to go and live in Australia?<br>And she wasn't joking either because Chris mentioned he had been to say goodbye to a friend who was going to Australia but didn't mention any names.<P>So he really has gone for good...<P>

someone other than me must remember when chris used to really p.iss off Rhys, then say "oh, i'm sorry" (really patronising voice). Then he'd apologise and say "gi's a kiss... go on just on the cheek. gi's a kiss"<P>Rhys would get VERY incorforted & irratated by this, which was hilarious  :)<P>Ah, the good old days. Although i do like lizzy and will, i do agree that it was better with rhys and mel.<br>I think it's really sad that he has left for good. I also think it is strange that chris never mentioned anything as he often talks about rhys.<br>

Yeah I saw some fatty on the webcam last saturday. was that rachel? Aw, man, my mental image of her is now ruined.<P>As for count drunkula, it could be good & bad if he is leaving. Haven't a silent producer is quite a nice twist on a saturday but a new replacement could spark teasing/banter etc. although if it's will it could be rubbish.

He said it on the show on Saturday but we didn't hear anything about Rachael. There was that woman there who was 'shadowing' richard. But chris said he was so dedicated that if richard left he would leave too!!!???

Ages ago he moved there from saturday breakfast in early 1998 i think. I still remember the glory days with ben and dave and greg on the show. Ahh memories
