If anyone is off to see Star Wars over the next few days, write up here- what you thought about it?

Well as I saw it last night at midnight I can write you a review. <Cough> Well........

The film is a huge improvement over episode I, Hayden Christensen plays Anakin very well and he truely shows the dark evil side to Anakin you can see how he has aged and got *. As for Ewan he has brought the Obi-Wan character to life well and he really is good in the film. One of the stars of the film has to be Christopher Lee he is superb as Count Dooko although he isn't in it till the last hour he still is superb only a shame he didn't have more screen time.
As for the best bit in the film, that has to be Yoda fighting what a legend Well won't spoil the story for the others but it is a must see and it has made it's way as being one of if not the best Star Wars film to date.

i saw eipsode 2,and the guy who plays annikan is nothing but crap. i seriously thought jar jar had a better performance. the film was a major dissapointment. i forgot how pendantic and bourgeois mr lucas is. thank go ewan mcgregor's in it. (is it a coincindence that in star wars and attack of the clones that the only decent actor is portraying obiwan kenobi? nah.)

dan. i know the originals, i got the points- the movie still sucked. cool parts- at home with the fetts, obiwan actually being productive, the battle, anything with yoda. the reason i didn't like the film- over acting by hayden christensen (seriously, lucas continues the fine tradition of finding unknown actors who can't act, can we say mark hamil, only he takes himself more serious) and natalie portman. oh, and the uber obvious foreshadowing.

Before I start i'm new and this is my first post.
Well I saw it last thursday at 2pm and it blew me away. Yoda is God. It also occured to me that everything, the empire and all that is Jar Jar's fault for saying to use the clones.

right. dan. what i meant to say was that mark hamil can laugh at himself, whilst hayden christensen is too busy trying to be moody. (apparently he tried to imitate some of james earl jones' speach patterns, how's that for a laugh!) i know you're a fanboy, and that's great, but even all the fan boys i know agree that the love story was crap, the dialogue was crap, and the only redeeming factors were obi-wan and yoda. in fact, last night we were watching a bootleg version at my house, and of the 50 people watching it, only 3 didn't laugh during any scene involving anakin. 3!!!

When I was in the cinema I didn't hear anyone laugh and only one person I has said that he was rubbish. The love story was slightly rushed but you can't fill the whole film with the love story, in episode 3 there will be some more development with it. Only three lines in the whole film were rubbish and rather pointless but the rest of it was fine. Christopher Lee was great in as was Mace Windu and you can't deny that the saber and the clone troop scenes weren't good. Also John Williams wrote another great Star Wars score although it seems that his best stuff is the Star Wars music.
