Someone recomended me apparently. And then a producer contacted me and left an answer phone message. It took me bloody ages to get thru to him. They do not have friendly switchboard staff, and don't believe that i should be put thru to a producer :-( grrrrrrrr. Ah well im well chuffed

Neither Hoare or Trash in the nominations for the student radio awards this year? ???

I want to see you up there...

Because our student radio station has been run by unintelligent Czechoslovakian Garden knomes for the last two years who kinda forgot to enrole us in the SRA. I'm running the bleeding show, and have found after 12months of mismanagement that we are £99 overdrawn. So that engineer will have to wait.
And next year it will be too late for the Trash and me.

get involved mate. It'll probably be life enhancing. Unfortunately SubCulture (shite name shite station) is life draining

getting plaudits for your work is based on location and who you know. Since Plymouth is hardley the most propsperous of cities, theres few outlets for creative talent. Subculture radio is a shocking mess, overdrawn an no money coming in means we have shite facilities and little hope of brand building.
I feel if myself or hoare were given a real opportunity of radio broadcasting we would do very well.

Im going to see a senior producer from the beeb on tuesday, should be cool ;D and i've also been asked to send a demo tape into brmb http://www.brmb.co.uk (which is a big radio station up where I live) so my constant nagging and sending of demo tapes is finally having some effects :-)

I was at the BBC studios today. It was very cool i got a full tour of the studios and they have given me a mini disc player and a nice bbc microphone to do my interviews with. They also offered me some work on ther freelance list. Which will be really cool and I finally think that I have a foot in the door and hopefuly this will get me somewhere! Oh yeah and I got my own copy of Ariel Magazine :-)
