These awards are just another example of the music industry going badly wrong. There are so many examples that I would tire of giving just a few. Outrageous, shocking, repulsive, sickening and offensive to my ear music is blurted out shamelessly on a regular basis. So these awards simply compound the arrogance, ignorance and capitalistic attitude that the industry exemplifies today. <br><br>I no longer watch these awards, or pay any attention to them for that matter. Thanks for the link though it was most stimulating.<br>

I support Monkey - but i don't really think that U2 should be nominated for anything, as much  of a fan i am - they should hold onto their more legendary (and better material)  past, and the award they won last year for outstanding.................(?) was well deserved.<br><br>Though at another awards ceremony last year - the funniest was Steely Dan topping the bill!  :)  can we have the age criterion for the voters please!?
