No,I'm not American. And I'm not anti-Northern Ireland either. I was just trying to point out that, yes, Americans often come across as stupid, but so do Brits in other countries. I think the problem with America in general is not so much stupidity as they are too insular. So if they don't know the difference between Northern Ireland and Eire, it's not that they're are stupid, more not too hot on geography or political history
Besides my main point was that nations are artificial. People are people,and to judge someone on nationality is just as wrong as to judge somebody on race,gender,sexuality etc.
