Dear All, What is everyone buying the family and friends this Christmas? Every year, I can't live without buying something for every member of family and all my friends. Last Year, I bought about £100 worth of Music tokens for my friends and because I've left home for higher education, i thought a nice card would be good for some of my not so close friends, who happen to be spending their Student loans on not so much books, but on PS2 and Beer.... Oh well, must go and speak to my Bank Manager or get a job.... Adam

I end up buying most of my friends and family stuff too.. the great thing is, they feel guilty and get me stuff then, so overall I make a profit out of Christmas, because I give them what I can afford anyway, and I get back more than I usually would. I never get anyone any money or gift vouchers though because it just feels to me like I'm not bothering to think about what they'd want, however when I get presents, I WANT money

I just spent two hundred quid on a minidisc player. So while feeling happy and fulfilled I've just realized christmas is approaching really fast and I have no money. As an art blokey I plan to draw everyone pictures this christmas...a great gift with that added value of a personal touch and incredibly cheap!

I ain't vacuuming until they invent one I can ride on.

oh ho ho! today is the official start of christmas shopping in america, the day after thanksgiving. i'm not buying much though cos i'm poor. such is life. my mum and i are going to all of the shops though, quite fun.
