Good to have fresh blood on the message board. I agree with adam, but people don't like 'newbies'. I don't know why, everyone was one once. If people are going to complain about new members they should go elsewhere as far as I'm concerned.

Yep, I completley agree with you. W is a v. weird letter. what's the point of a letter conjoined out of two otheres? & it's not even a product of the original - why isnt' it called double V ??????

well actually... the w/ double u is very cool as a letter. it hearkens back to the olde days of old english/old saxon/old frisian. ancient latin, as far as i know, used the w for it. but i know tonnes of times in the Caedmon bible where you see the two u's. they make this fantwastic fricative.
