....also i send many emails to chris suggesting he watches Late night with Conan O Brien On CMBC on Saturday and sunday nights. Of course , he doesn't reply but i would like to recommend to any1 with access to CNBC to watch it as its bloody brilliant.

I wonder how many pages we can get out of this nonsense.
How long can you all talk nonsense for? Personally, I don't think I ever stop!!! :)

Because Lancashire isn't actually used (in that 'I live in Lancs') that much anymore, especially if you live in Manchester - all the boundary changes and all that type of rubbish.
xx

Lancs is there but its sort of been eaten into by Greater Manchester like Cheshire has been.
Tower FM still say South Lancashire.
My dad went Salford Uni too...PHD in physics (yawn).

too many boundary changes, makes for a confusing life. Initially we are all supposed to have a county, then...well bloody councils! I still say I live in Lancashire though..I am sure I do ...it's just some people (like yourself Lozza) have it as part of their postal address and thus officially live there...and haven't ever had it changed cos of all the boundary and etc etc..probably as one does not live in a city..though you also live in Greater Manchester..um, where was I??!
I think your Gtr Manchester is my Lancashire.
Re. Offspring - nothing, I was just havin' a (not very funny) larf. It's just very obvious when there's a big gig in Mcr, you walk down Market Street or get on a tram, and there's a hurdle of people (If there can be such a thing!) with said bands t-shirt on and if it is a grunge band, they look the part, and if it's a boy-band a la Westlife, the girls look like they're um, ladies of the night shall we say........!
Glad the NME tour was good - didn't get to to meself

Jay Leno is funny, but Conan's wit is drier -more British in that sarcy way, and I am of that persuasion.
xx

lol, don't worry - neither did I!!!!
I think I just meant we all had a county until the councils changed it though I think we still do and um...dunno!!!
xx

Actually Kate I lived most of me life in Manchester, i've been here about a year (and feckin hate it). When we were in Manchester we got the occaisional letter with Lancs. Never greater Manchester.
And the people round here all think there Mancunian - that does my head in...there from Cheshire, takes me ages to get that into there thick head.
What hospital was everyone born in?

Who was it Clare - cos the messages have not got more and more bizarre - they even told me they love me :)
I dunno if its male, female, mentally deranged or what!
I must say though I enjoy the attention - it breaks up a boring day, so the thoughts of them annoying me aint really happening :)
Yeah Lozza - when you're in Mcr you may get 'Lancashire' and on silly forms when they ask for my county that's what I write.
And even though people say 'Gtr Manchester' -like on the news when they want to show that this part of the country is relevant to my local news - they don't seem to write it.
Cheshire - well people think saying they're from Manchester is 'cool' for some reason and feel a bit poncey saying 'Cheshire' (plus not everyone knows Cheshire!!)
There's my nonsensical self again!

I was born in Withington hospital.
But My niece (cos I know you all want to know!) was born in St Mary's and my nephew in Trafford, cos that is an excellent hospital - it's nice and samll and you get you're own room and everything(not private)!!
Stickyspanner - popular guy!!!!!!
Oooh I need BIIIGGGG help everyone!!!! I am applying for this Marketing/PR job for a (well known) clothing company and need to do something with my CV to sell myself Marketing/PR compliant...heeellllppp!!!!!!
Thanks - you won't let me down...will you??!
xx

leno is OK in a wise guy comedic style but Conans humour is more advanced and complex. PimpBot 2000 and Triumpth the insult comic dog kick the proverbial backside.
