they are still massive in japan. we don't realise how big crappy bands can get in the far east. i know i sometimes tend to embellish stories, but i swear this is the truth, i visited a very old fijian village while i was in fiji, mud huts and the lot, and in the evening a few of them played songs on guitars and sang. as well as traditional fijian music, the song list included:
atomic kitten - whole again
waltzing matilda
and.........
chaka demus and pliers - a long long time!
that is the honest truth, it's really quite depressing.

yeah but did you know its because ages ago the planet mercury came from within either saturn or jupiter, passed us on its journey to its inner orbit, and caused the earth to crack rather like an egg (hence the massive crack running around the earth mostly taken up by what is know as the mid atlantic ridge). The, then incredibly hot mercury, caused us to come out of the ice age and our polarity to reverse - as shown by rock dating etc. The heating from this effect has caused us to warm up from this point onwards and will eventually die down. "global warming" is thermodynamic nonsense. . . . yeah right i believe that stuff(!) maybe. . .
can we discuss the euro now?

global warming could be the product of increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the stmosphere. while aerosols etc. may contribute a small amount to this, carbon dioxide levels have in fact been rising steadily since the earth was formed anyway, as can be seen in fossilised plants and animals.
