You know this doesn't neccessarily have to be bad thing.

You will get to hear such top quality programmes as 'The Archers' and learn something about the wonders of sheep farming.

You know I almost envy you...

Just take in your personal stereo. That's what I always used to do when doing a late shift at work.

i quite like radio4, and listen to it more than radio1. there's comedy, news, thoughtful pieces, and john peel talking 'bout kids.

the archers aren't on till 7 anyhow, so phil would miss it regardless. i quite like listening to the archers and consider it a highlight of my day.

Don't worry he can get the lunch time one!

I love Radio Four as well, call me sad or whatever I don't care. It has the finest comedy shows both on radio and tv.

do what i did.

Transfer to push trolley's in the car park. they dont see yer personal stereo then.

all you have to give up is your career, but mine was too stressful anyway. And it didn't do Ken Barlow any harm.

Record it on video. It's very easy if you got Sky or digital cable otherwise you need to hook up a radio to the scart or phonos.
