We only need 60, but it's doubtful BT will consider us now because of this AirDSL thingy.

Err, changed my mind. DON'T use them. After reading on the forums at http://www.adsl-guide.org and seeing all the complaints, turns out there's a reason they're so cheap, they off cr*p service.

So today, I just signed up with http://www.plus.net
Very good reliability and cheap. For a 512KBit line, £18.99 per month. £58 startup cost.
In 10-15 days once I'm hooked up, I'll let you know if they're any good.

This type of thing always happens. The moment you buy something computer related, a better/cheaper version comes out.

HA! More like a piece of string connecting your PC to your phone line! I've got a 56k modem and it seems pretty damn fast.

depends what you do on it.
Web pages are OK on 56k but downloads are 10 times better with ADSL But I don't notice any differance with web pages(Unless flash enabled)

I still can't get my broadband to work, I think it may have something to do with my extention line being old and rubbish. It connects then disconnects very quicky, so I haven't been able to see what it can do.
