Of course they were right to go, I mean it's their job. So one of their players missed a drugs checking. Maybe it was an honest mistake, maybe not. It's not down to the players to not do their overpaid job or not as matter of protest.
I'm sorry officer I didn't turn up for my trial, I was moving house --- to a non-extradition treaty country. Same difference.

Good point. Some footballers are very overpaid, it's onlykicking a bit of leather around a bit of grass.

p.s.Just heard the under 21s are losing 1v0

I know most the key players are there. We were talking about them thinking about going on protest. Now whether or not they really were going to go on protest isn't known. I was just saying on the matter of drugs tersting, they shouldn't go on protest.

Then why did you quote my post and not the original post?
It's not that you're not that stupid or am I not being clear enough for you to not make sense?

There's nothing wrong with being welsh

Ferdinand missing, owen's not going to play and Beckham is recovering from an injury so Sven might take him off after half time.

I wish owen did play for wales then we might not have been stuffed by Italy last month

It's Rio's own stupid fault for 'forgetting' the drugs test. The FA maybe trying to make an example of him, but it serves him right if you ask me.

Things to do today:
1. Move House
2. Take drugs test thus ensuring I keep my multi million pound job.

It's not difficult to remember to do both now is it?

ferdinand has been a liability lately anyway. big john terry in the team.

I think the FA have done the right thing because imagine the turks reaction if ferdinand had played against them, England had qualified and this story came out afterwards...

Just now let's play the god damn game, get a draw, get home without any trouble (yeah like that's going to happen) and sort the whole rio thing out then

It'll be amazing if they do get home without any trouble, most away England matches result in some trouble. Tight security in Turkey won't stop the die hard england fans travelling

well done to everyone involved
we did it, we qualified and I think we all agree that

it was quite a boring match, but alpay was a w*nker and that guy who dived in the penalty area should have had a booking and the keepers challenge on Dyer was terrible. Do you reckon alpay will get banned from FIFA for his reaction to Beckham after he'd missed the penalty and when they were walking down the tunnel at half time?

I so wish the cameras could have been in the that tunnel at half time

the players threaten to quit together
have their arms one another while they sing the anthem together
put in a fantastic performance by pulling together
show how much it means by celebrating in a huddle together

- and are so committed to the cause they all pile in for a punch up together :D

now that's what you call team spirit...

at the end that huddle was just to wind them up. They've never done that before. Im just about to watch the re-run on itv because thats how sad i am, watching the same football match twice.

I'm glad I didn't make the effort to watch the match live. It was a shit match.

I thought it was alright. We weren't at our best but we made a good team look very ordinary (especially in the first half) and after the last week let's just be thankful we're through...

so it wasnt anything to do with qualifying then? if the keeper should have gone (i dont think he should have) then butt should defintely have gone for his challenge. i wish we had refs like collina over here though.

i was impressed by the way we got the result we needed.

why should our national team betray and let the country down because a player who is paid a lot of money doesnt turn up for a drugs test, its his fault and rules are rules. his paid enough to remember!

thats my fickle opinion.

I think Man Utd should have made sure he got there. In other sports they make sure you are there.
