Can anyone see the likenesses between Hitler and Voldemort from Harry Potter?

Hitler wanted to join all Germans together, although he was Austrian.
Voldemort wants to join all pure bloods together, although he is half blood.

Hitler wanted all Germans to be Aryan, blonde hair, blue eyes etc.
Voldemort's supporters have Blonde Hair and Blue eyes (the Malfoy's)

Maybe this is a bit farfetched!

I can see your point on the pure blood side of it, but not on the physical aspects. The Malfoys might have blonde hair, but Crabbe, Goyle, Snape (before he left the Deatheaters) don't.

But you're right, she's always about dropping hints through out that you only really pick up on after you've finished the book and read it through again.

No, she's not a Nazi, but if you were trying to come up with an evil villain for your story Hitler is a pretty decent person to draw inspiration from.

I'm not disputing that but I can still remember the last Harry Potter thread when the fifth book came out. Oh, and I still haven't read it yet as I'm in the middle of the Night Dawn trilogy by Peter Hamilton and I don't want somebody to start spoiling the fifth book.

As far as I know Ian Harts doing the voice of him and wheter or not he is playing him or not I don't know, but who ever plays him will be part CGI anyway.

Yeah, Ian Hart was Quirrell in the Philospoher's Stone, so I doubt he's going to be Voldemort for the rest of the films. Voldemort will need to be CGI for most of the film, but after he emerges from the cauldron he can be played by an actual actor.

So, we're looking for somebody who's english and looks evil. Hmm, any objections to Richard E Grant?
