Considering the format of the show, i would guess Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar.... but that is a pure guess because i haven't heard the song to it's 'full capacity' yet - subjective i know :)

Hello to you all again too... for minority that remember me :)

It's going to be like Annie nightingale- which is good- but usually if i'm awake to listen to this - i'm usually semi consciuous either through drink or lack of sleep....

chemical brother's new album is niice. it's probably as good as the last one. they are both sortof similar in the number of good songs/bad ones ratio. the richard ashcroft track is no-where as good as you would expect from such a colaboration of minds. but 'hoops' is a * classic. 2 or three other are also nice. but it's not as good as the first album :) no waaayyy man.

welcome back sanjay. we may miss your afternoon posts as they are marred by the shotgun tacktics of the whoare; aiming at random at poor, innocent, topics.

I was half awake at 4am this morning so I switched on the radio to Radio One and heard the Blue Room. Of course I fell asleep during bits, waking up again, falling asleep etc.

Sounds very good... they even played the tune that me and Monkey like at 5:40am, although I didn't catch the name of it (this may be becasue they don't say the names) and I was just very lucky to hear it.

I am waiting for them to put track listings on Radio One Online......

David

The song at the end of the trailer is called 'I Don't Know What I Can Save You From' and the mix is featured on their 'Versus' remix album which was out towards the end of 2001.

Their debut album called 'Quiet Is The New Loud' was in my opinion one of the best releases of last year. Thanks Monkey, was just about to post another topic about the 14 hours of continous dance on R1 Online before i checked that link.... i caught the headline of that on the site and presumably it's not going to be broadcast on the 'airwaves'.

As i don't have the 'adequate' facilities, could anyone be generous enough to record the Paul Oakenfold, U.N.K.L.E, and Mistress Barbara mixes for me? ;D

I caught the 'H-Foundation' essential mix last week - Brilliant stuff! :)

If you like that track, try downloading 'Toxic Girl' and 'Winning The Battle, Losing The War' which are both excellent songs.

Sigur Ros.......not really heard much of them but apparently they're also part of the so-called 'new acoustic movement' which Kings Of Convenience, Turin Brakes, etc are a part of.
