Aaron wrote:O'Brien should have been sent off but it was clearly outside the area never a penalty.

Maybe I wasn't looking at the replay properly but I didn't see much contact at all. O'Brien didn't argue but I still think it was a harsh sending off.

I think Chelsea will beat most teams this season so I don't think you barcode fans should lose too much sleep over it. Chelsea are in great form, you didn't have Shearer and you were down to 10 men for 50 odd minutes so you were bound to get a spanking.

I still think you'll be 5th or 6th, although I suppose after the last 2 years that isn't good enough.

Right result, wrong way round.

Sidla wrote:Aston Villa 2 Middlesbrough 0 (Together in the table but Villa have the home advantage)

Ditto.

Sidla wrote:Bolton 1 Southampton 1 (No comments)

Got the draw right.

Sidla wrote:Charlton 1 Fulham 1 (A definate draw, mark it on your pools coupon)

Oh well.

Sidla wrote:Portsmouth 3 Leeds 0 (Just because it would be funny)

Even funnier than I predicted.

Sidla wrote:Wolves 0 Birmingham 2 (Purely because Leicester need a Wolves defeat)

Oh well.

Sidla wrote:Liverpool 2 Man U 1 (Liverpool to scrape a late goal)

I got the late goal bit semi-right.

Sidla wrote:Man City 0 Leicester 1 (Why not stick my neck out?)

Should have stuck it out further.

Sidla wrote:Chelski 3 Newcastle 1 (A Chelsea win)

Again, got the win bit right. The score was mile out though.

Sidla wrote:Blackburn 3 Everton 2 (Just to piss Gaspode off, and Blackburn need the points)

Got the goal difference right.

Didn't do too bad.

The government doesn't pay, we get a loan. We have to pay it back, that doesn't count.

There are number of ways of not paying these loans:

You happen to be coming up to you 65th Birthday

Dont earn more than £10,000 p.a during your working life

Die

Adam: Hopefully not in debt for long.

But it seems more expensive to do higher education in America. Do students there shop around to do a degree that is the cheapest to do?

ad, it depends.

one of the cheapest ways to go is to spend your first year at a junior college to get your general ed. taken care of, and then transfer to a local state college or university. public schools are cheaper for residents of that state than out of state students. private universities are really expensive, but many have grants and scholarships available. over all though, it is really expensive. my uni has raised tuition 30% in the past year, and more fee hikes are expected. our tuition is something like $12,000 a year or so (not including books or the cost of living).
