wales 2(2) v russia 1(1) ( a goal from earnshaw and 1 from giggs should ensure a place in euro 2004 for the welsh, russian goal for ........ski)

holland 1 (1)v 1(2)scotland( van nistlerooy finally gets a goal after not scoring for about a month, scottish goal to come froma free kick)

my prediction for the Big Match

Canvey Island 1-2 Southend United - ok so the islanders showed grit in the first match which prompted this FA cup replay, but the blue boys must show no mercy and will be looking to regain their dignity after being crushed 4-0 by yeovil in D3 at the weekend

oh dear. not looking good. predictably scotland are getting thrashed 3-0 but Wales are losing 1-0 as well. Wales = nearly men. Hope I'm proved wrong tonight....

the best match you could have watched tonight on t.v was this. Canvey took the lead in the first half with a poorly defended goal from a corner but it didnt take long for Southend to reply with a great goal from tes bramble. with half time approaching on 43 minutes Canvey ran the ball in from a loose ball, a bad mistake by Southend keeper flahavan and an empty net to tuck the ball into. 2-1 to Canvey. Things were not looking good for Southend. But it only took 19 seconds after the break for Jay Smith to score a brilliant goal from 25 yards into the bottom corner for Southend. 2-2 the score. An intense second half saw Southend defender Warren sent off with 5 mins to go. on 92 minutes it looked to be heading for extra time, but the ball was layed off for Jay Smith on the edge of the area and a wonderful strike into the top corner sealed the victory for 10-man Southend United. 3-2 to Southend United the final score.

Birmingham 0 Arsenal 2 (brums good start is over, I expect them to back in the relegation battle after xmas. Despite suspensions the arses to win..)

Everton 1 Wolves 1 (Wolves are doing ok at the moment, everton are not. Rooney will score with Iversen replying for Wolves..)

Leeds 0 Bolton 1 (good old eddie gray he'll get them winning won't he, eh?....erm no)

Leicester 1 Charlton 0 (Leicester need the points and Charlton are due a bad result..)

United 3 Blackburn 0 (van nistelhorse is back scoring again...admittedly against scotland, however Blackburn's defence will crumble here..)

Middlesbrough 2 Liverpool 1 (houllier under more pressure here as mendieta and juninho win all 3 points for boro..)

Newcastle 4 City 1 (well city either thrash another team or get thrashed themselves....barcodes to bounce back in this one after chelski drubbing..)

Southampton 0 Chelsea 2 (will strachan stay or go....doesn't matter either way against roman's millionaires..)

SUNDAY

Tottenham 0 Aston Villa 0 (two poor mid-table teams out of form with no cash to splash in the transfer window..)

MONDAY

Fulham 1 Portsmouth 2 (fulham's good run is over and pompey will stay up by winning games like this..but AGAIN a rubbish choice of match by sky..)

Also, England to win in the egg-chasing with Wilkinson scoring all our points, just to piss off the aussies really...
