Jonny Wilkinson is more deserved of Sports Personality, than David Beckham. He hasn't done anything that spectacular for England this year. (Maybe England fans could pick out something, but..)

I thought you only get Sir if you are knighted. Sure he can stick letters after his name. Apparantly I can't ignore rugby, won't be that long until the Six Nations. It'd be funny if Scotland went and beat England. Sure they did that afer 1966.

It is a one horse rase for Sports Personality of the year. Wilkinson deserves it because he scored the most points out of anyone in the world cup - and 15 in the final.

I wouldn't think he'd get an MBE or CBE or anything - but Clive Woodward will definitely be knighted. Deservedly aswell, as my new found knowledge of rugby tells me that he turned the england team from a bag of sh*te into world champions in 6 years.

we can give them every award but that doesn't mean I'll pay any attention to domestic rugby or any of that bollocks. My rugby viewing is over for a good few years and it's back to supporting our under-acheiving, overpaid england football team...

we qualified for the european championships undefeated and beckham captained us? roonaldo may have a chance too.. (you never know).

the european championships is a much bigger event than the rugby world cup and will be covered more. people are deluded if they think rugby will become anything more than a posh persons sport.
