That's a bit of a random thing to say - where'd you get that from? Is the stuffed animal museum still there?

I don't think I've been drunk on here for ages. I haven't been drunk for a while, owing to my recent lack of funds.

I'm always drunk.

Well actually no, I'm drunk from 10:30pm until 10am. I'm in bed for most of that duration though.

No matter how skint I get, there always seems to be means to get drunk. In fact, the more skint I become, the more important being drunk seems to be.

Yeah, but I barely have enough cash for petrol to get into work next week - it's so frustrating having time off and not being able to do anything...

Ahh, this is why in London, most people get a yearly travel ticket for trains and underground and stuff from a travel loan. Then the rest of the year money is spent on booze.

There's this relatively new concept called Public Transport which is widely available in most town and cities including Milton Keynes

It’s fairly cheap, I hear.

Well if he's moaning about the money - sod the car and get a bus - thus saving money for beer and going out with your mates.

No, but public transport in MK is crap. Even when I worked in London I couldn't get a travel loan (is that what you get from your employer?) and had to get monthly tickets. I pay for petrol, unfortunately. It's my own stupid fault to be fair, I should have budgeted better.

Yep.

Often companies set aside a travel loan that then is taken out of your wages each month.

Season tickets from where I live to London can cost about 3,000£
