Record of the Year on previous years was the 20 top selling record of the last 11 months. They get cut down to 10.

So how come this year (BMG) Westlife (BMG) at that time only were (BMG) 51st highest selling (BMG) song of the (BMG) year so shouldnt have (BMG) even (BMG) entered. Last year (BMG) Gareth Gates (BMG) won and this year (BMG) they got him to perform (BMG) on the show. This follows (BMG) their phoney (BMG) awards show (BMG) last month that even gave a (BMG) award to the Cheeky (BMG) Girls.

Fatman Scoop song has been around 5 years though so i don't think that deserved record of this year. (Could say the same for Westlife song aswell seen as it was a cover i suppose).
