I only heard the end of it (sleeping); was it just them talking about their comic relief thing or was there other stuff?

There was other stuff. Vernon Kay was there, thay had a football pundit on whos name escapes me at the moment and of course the competition with supposedly football fans who didn't know hardly anything.

Ray Stubbs. Cause United were playing Everton today, Stubbs talked the two of them into a forfeit in which the "loser" (who we now know is Dave because Everton got beat 3-2) had to dress in full suit and tie and follow the other around for a day, at their beck and call.

they know too much about football? surely that would be a good reason to have them presenting the shows... or maybe my thoughts dont count for much.

I think the point is that the Beeb don't choose people who know about football for football shows.,,, Jeez nd I'm supposed to be pissed.

I see it now. Clearly they should choose me in that case.

I doubt they'll be any more football shows on Radio 1, probably why it was called the football "annual". Chappers is a big time presenter on Five Live now anyway...
