When did Moyles make this comment? Love to have heard it. Ouch - I bet the BBC aren't happy about this - still serves Moyles right for being a bit too out spoken about someone's products. I shall laugh when I hear the verdict of this case.

Anyway - in what way are post it notes - sh*t?

From what I gathered, the only reason it got to court was because it was outwith the time period for the BBC Govenors to investigate it so thereforec must proceed as a civil case (anyone here do law? how do these work?)

It also seems as if the guys only sueing cos his business went under. Don't mean to be too critical here or cast doubt over his kind of character, I just think it's a bit of a coincidence that Moyles makes a comment one year, his business goes under the next and THEN he makes the claim about Moyles.

Obviously there aren't many details, but from just reading what they have there I would think the BBC would manage to get away with it. They'll probably claim that Moyles has an "ordinary bloke" kind of character etc, etc and that the information was not intended to degrade the product and that it was clearly stated as being a personal opinion expressed in publics best interest....

It would be interesting what "reprimands" (if any) the BBC might take on Moyles if the claim was successful though...
