After watching Peter Kay I asked some people I know from down south and they say they don't do gravy in chips shops, but they do do peas, and curry in most places.

Have you checked? You can usually get gravy around here, they give you it in a polystyrene pot. It goes well with chips. I have never been to keen on chip shop pies, you wonder what is in them.

I think chips in gravy is nice, curry sauce is good as well (as long as it's done right - my local chippy doesn't do it right. I don't do peas at all though. What in gods name is hollands pie?

What I want, more than almost anything else in the world, is a decent pie and mash shop in MK...

I challenge anyone to try gravey on chips who hasn't yet.

I wouldn't ead a pukka pie, pie and mash shops are the best. We need more.
