The geeks on Digital Spy will tell you DAB is worse than FM. I have it, and it is better in that there is no hiss but it does sound a bit 'flat' sometimes and occasionally burbles in bad weather. The best quality you are likely to get is via Sky.

I always thought the SKY, Freeview and DAB quality was never actually as good (I presume they all come from the same source).... Yes it didnt hiss like FM can do at times, but the FM goes through a different load of limiters and compressors etc which I thought always thought, comparing the two audio sources, always boosted it a bit more...

Yeah, sometimes you end up turning the volume up to hear someone talking and then something else will sound really loud, which makes you jump. However, Radio 1 on FM has awful quality around where I live, as does Radio 4 so DAB can be quite refreshing.
