I dont mind them . I feel that it adds life to the messageboard - some of them have made a good start to contributing to this messageboard. Newcomers will change the board to an extend.

Giving them a chance and teaching the chrismoyles.net way will change them and hopefully get them to settle down alot more. Its good the board is busy [lots of posts] and that people want to.

Just think that some of the old crew (kinda me but not entirely) should make sure that we enforce the chrismoyles.net way so that the site doesn't seem full of twats.

when i get back to america, i'll be busy with school/work/re-adjusting, so i don't know if i'll have much time for this forum. i'd rather watch tv with my boyfriend than read about people moaning about twat newbies or inane radio crap.

Yeah, that's what i meant, just that when i created the topic i was at a particular annoyed period with new people.

yeah, and i totally agree.

the board has changed considerably since i was a newbie because loads of people, like dickie and mc, came along. it happens. nothing lasts forever. you can try to police it to a certain extent, but it's bound to happen.

i've really felt little connection here since gaspode stopped posting.

Most of these people are the really old members, from years ago. People who came after them and became regulars (Morals, Bridgie, Topher, Minnie, Giggly etc. ) now don't seem to be posting as often and more recently are steadily getting 'replaced' with new people.

As new people come the forums bound to change as there are new characters. There's no point following them round picking them up on everything single thing trying to 'enforce' something.

A combination of reasons:

1. I now work, so don't have as much time for the net.
2. I work evenings, and work until late, so by the time I get up and have lunch I only have a couple of hours before I have to go to work.
3. I'm on dial-up now, so if I've only got a half-assed reply which was often the case before, I can't be arsed waiting for the time it takes to post.
4. Most threads at the moment are completely pointless, i.e. all the tombugler crap, so I can't even be arsed giving them the time of day.

I've been visiting recently, but to be honest, there's not much worthy of replying too. The threads seem to be endless inane bickering which drags on. Also, working every day means I am either at work or asleep.

The board used to be good though. I know there are two reasons for Morals not really visiting. One is that he only has net access at work and so doesnt have much time on the net and the other is that he was sick of all the newbies coming along slagging each other off.

Then again hes slagged enough people off on this board in his time.....

i agree most of the threads have been crap. i don't feel like keeping up like i used to. such is my fault i suppose. i guess i've just outgrown this site/board, which is sad.
