i was wondering if anyone had this days show

because i've missed the first 18 minutes

i was gonna listen to the show but i found out i didnt have it all on tape which kinda spoils it as i dont like missing bits of shows

so if someone could upload the first 18 minutes 06:55-07:13 of this show or edit the songs out which would decrease the filesize.

please i'd really appreciate it

i'll see if i can work on it when i get home, shame i can't access my Sky + remotely.... the only problem might be that i'm moving onto a new PC so all my software for capturing, encoding and uploading won't be on the new machine. i'll have a look though. i should be home by 8pm - maybe someone else can fulfil the request in the meantime...

I think most sound recorders would prefer to put their efforts into creating clips that are of interest to many visitors and can be stored in the Sound Vault.

Capturing, editing and uploading the first few minutes of a show that a fanatic has missed doesn't really seem to be the best use of their time. If someone does it, great .. but don't expect people to jump through hoops. If it is such that missing a show causes you distress then I sugest you invest in a better way to ensure it doesn't happen.

i agree with you chris, but at the moment i feel i can supply the show in question, it's just checking to see that the show is still on my Sky + - to be honest, i have nothing better to do... lol silly holidays....

windows movie maker will edit it for you, shame it converts to .wma when you save it. if you've got XP, windows movie maker should be already installed.

Movie Maker doesn't seem to want to open that, as My copy is a .ra file.

So can't help you there, sorry. If you want the whole show, then I'm your man. If not someone else will have to help

as i say, i can get the show off my sky +, i'm just not at home at the moment so i can't prepare the clip....

on the .ra thing, is that the downloaded stream of the listen again show?, if so it's probably terrible quality compared with my Sky +

Yes, but its still very good quality
