i don't like them air dryers they never work properly its just wrong. worst are them manky towel things that you pull down.

paper towels are the best i therefore conclude.

sod efficiency.

The air dryers do my head in cos you have to wait for hours before your hands are dry. I would say in terms of energy efficiency reuseable towels are best. I normally just resort to shirt and trousers when I'm in a hurry though.

air dryers only work if you hardly put use any water at all.. they suck, but then people usually make wads of the paper towels and soak them then chuck them about.. hmm - why are you asking anyway??!

Paper towels are obviously the most energy efficient as they don't need cleaning or electricity. I believe hand dryers are the cheapest to run, though. Reusable towels are my favourite.

Yeah, but what about the energy used to make the paper towels, and the energy that could be generated by burning them?

obviously Adam cares, I'm still wondering why he asked though.. There must be a reason because it's too obscure a question to be brought up randomly.. Well - you never know with Adam ;)

I suppose you could burn the paper towles when you have used them to heat your house, but you could burn the hand drier or re-usable towel when you have finished with them. But I do know for a fact that hand driers have the lowest running costs. Ahh, so difficult.
