There have actually been some good new bands this year. Keane, Franz Ferdinand, The Zutons, Razorlight, etc.

But the charts are worthless these days, and don't in any way represent good music. I didn't even know that Ja Rule song even existed until last Sunday! But I don't think anyone even cares if they do get to number one these days, Eric Prydz did it and all he had to write was three words!

How is it a weird comparison? Busted should be considered as credible as green day... theres all the naff american bands like Blink 182 that are just the same.

But I would consider them different genres, Green Day as rock and Busted as pop. I don't mind Blink 182's more recent stuff.

Their new album American Idiot is fantastic in my most humblest of opinions. Lyrically it's a lot more political than before and I don't think you would catch the likes of Busted doing that.

Busted, Green Day, Blink 182 and Good Charlotte are all as bad as each other.
