Thats where you start. If you have an interest in radio, then being there - part of the station regardless of its making cups of teas or cleaning up is a start.

Some people who are now famous djs started this way. Don't be so negitive monkey_fart.

For me work expirence was the best thing ever. And my whole time at BBC shetland I made about 2 cups of tea, and I have been doing work for them on quite a regular basis for about 2 years now.

I'm working on two projects. First starts the 13th and the second starts the 20th!

Plus - a show to record BIG TIME - Monday the 13th of Dec, don't want to say too much as it'll spoil the surprise!!!

No. We brought it back, and the reception wasn't that warm - including from this board. I think the lesson I've learnt is "never look back, always look forward" as the features are always better in nostalgia!

Have the team started thinking of new features to be introduced in the new year?

I doubt if you'd anwer what your least favourite feature was, so out of Buzz Off ,Tedious Link, Half Time and Carpark Catchphrase, which are your favourite top 3?

LOL! That's very funny. I LOVE Half time - by far my favourite part of the show, I love Carpark Catchphrase but I do stress over the contestants a lot - so it's a nervous energy! Not giving a 3rd. Sorry.

We're always working on future stuff. We're currently working on stuff for Christmas and the New Year. We're even working on stuff up to the end of March.

Hmm. Album of the year Black Eyed Peas (if that counts), single of the year Britney Toxic. Show Of The Year - Portugal outside the Swiss hotel, moment of the year - on stage at the OBW in Birmingham as Mouldy Looking Stain!

very boring question here Aled, but does the r1 text system accept long SMS messages? several times I have gone to text and my message has been too long to fit in 1 message, but I always get the impression that if I were to send it like that, the second bit would get lost somewhere.... if you catch my drift.

No, they come through but as seperate texts. Best not to do more than 1 text length though as it's rare they'd come in together - consider we get several thousand per show
