Better than Out of Nothing but not as good as Wh? killed the Zutons you wouldn't be unhappy getting this in your stocking for Christmas. It has more good songs than Out of Nothing (Jenny Was A Friend of Mine, Smile Like you mean it and Believe me Natalie) and is a good album but I just can't connect with it the same as the Zutons. Great individually, lacking as a collection its like the opposite of Everton this season.

Maybe its my prejudice because its an American band that makes me not like it as much. That said Mr Brightside, Somebody Told Me and Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll are fandabbydohzee as the Krankies once said.

Just bought this and I'm really enjoying it so far - on track 9 now. Also bought Kasabian today, but as I'm not very good at reviewing things don't expect a review from me...

The Kasabian album is great as well. I think its better than Hot Fuss. However I am also crap at reviews so a review won't come from me either. Otherwise I would probably be writing several reviews.

The albums I love at the moment are Secret Machines - Now Here Is Nowhere and Bloc Party - Silent Alarm.

You should try and give Kasabian a listen. They sounded great on the in New Music We Trust tour.

They appear to be gathering momentum.

I think that 2005 will be a good year for Kasabian, Kasier Cheifs and Bloc Party.

I like Cutt Off and Processed Beats, not really heard much else from them though.

Best albums of last year for me were The Zutons, Franz Ferdinand and Green Day - but after buying this t'other day it's up there with em.

Best song bar the singles is track 9 (forgotten it's name).

I'd go along with those, although I haven't heard the Zutons album. Add to that Keane as well.
