Working class people watch league.

Widnes fans are beneath contempt.

there is less standing on each others heads in league.

you should fit in well...

League is less stop/start and flows better, which is the main difference I find.

You should definatly enjoy it - even if you are going to watch Leeds ;)

so what you are saying is you slag off widnes fans for shagging MORE sheep than you lot do?

By the way.. more pies are eaten in wigan than other places.

I've never heard Widnes being Sheep Sh@ggers before. Chemics, yes.

Wigan are called pie eaters because there was a strike in Wigan (or something) and the strikers caved in eventually and the headline on the paper was "Wiganers eat Humble Pie" thus they are pie eaters.

one thing you have to remmeber is that....

[ray french] heeeeeeeeeee's gooooiiiiiiing aaaaaaawwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy [/ray french]

Widnes used to rock when it used to be on grandstand. They ha Martin offiah back then... before Wigan came along and won everything...

When i drove to widnes with the former Jho consort Dizzy Fluff, (you know gaspode the chesty one) to her place of work, we entered Widnes, and because i used to watch rugby league religously on the telly on grandstand when i was little, i got carried away by the spirit of ray french and shouted out the window

[ray french] heeeeeeeeeee's gooooiiiiiiing aaaaaaawwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy [/ray french]

Above all, whichever discipline you're watching, just be glad it's not american football, but a far better game.
